iQOO Details Neo 11 Ultra Screen: 6.83-inch 2K Panel and F2 Emitter Debut

iQOO has published the official display specifications for its upcoming Neo 11 Ultra. The phone uses a flat 6.83-inch OLED panel with 2K resolution. The resolution itself is not the headline — the way it is achieved is, as iQOO claims the world's first commercial use of a Chinese-developed F2 luminescent material.

That matters because 2K panels have traditionally cost battery life, which is why most makers in this segment settle for 1.5K screens. iQOO argues the new material removes that trade-off.

What the F2 material changes

The panel is built around F2, described as the first mass-produced domestically developed luminescent material, applied through an angstrom-level evaporation deposition process.

Higher luminous efficiency lowers the screen's power draw: according to the product manager, the Neo 11 Ultra's 2K panel consumes less than some 1.5K displays currently on the market.

The benefit of the higher resolution is framed in simple terms: more visible detail and sharper text compared with the common 1.5K alternatives.

Alongside the display, iQOO had already confirmed a 9100mAh battery, the largest ever fitted to a Neo phone. For reference, last year's iQOO Neo 11 shipped with a 6.82-inch 2K screen and a 7500mAh cell, so the Ultra's main gains are concentrated in endurance and display efficiency.

The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra will be introduced on August 18 at 19:00 China time, with sales starting immediately after the event. The iQOO Z11S will be shown the same day.

Design and colours

The camera module has moved to a horizontal layout and shrunk noticeably, with the flash placed separately. The series design language stays in place, including the floating porthole motif and heavily rounded edges. Three colours are planned — Chengfeng, Jiying Black and Chiguang White. The last one uses a new finish with a 3D flowing light effect, giving the back a gradient sheen that shifts with the angle and lighting.

Still unconfirmed

Officially, iQOO has only disclosed the display specifications, the battery capacity, and the announcement date. Insider sources add a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a new variant of the Dimensity 9500 chip, 100W charging, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP68 plus IP69 ratings. None of this has been addressed by the manufacturer.
