Honor Confirms X9e Pro With 11,000mAh Battery

Honor X9e Pro

Honor X9e Pro has been officially confirmed by the company as the first Pro model to join its budget-friendly X Series lineup. The device leans on a segment-record battery capacity and reinforced drop and water resistance, positioning it as the most durable phone in the range so far. Honor plans to reveal the full price and remaining specifications later, but the company has already shown off the key highlights.

An 11,000mAh Battery and Fast Charging

The headline feature of the Honor X9e Pro is its 11,000mAh battery, one of the largest capacities in the mid-range segment. For comparison, the flagship Honor Magic 8 Pro carries just 7,100mAh. The battery charges at 80W, and according to Malaysian outlets, the phone also supports 27W reverse wired charging, letting owners top up another device straight from the phone.

27W reverse charging turns the X9e Pro into a portable power bank for earbuds, a smartwatch, or another phone — a feature rarely seen at this price point.

Extreme Drop and Water Resistance

Beyond battery size, Honor put the spotlight on the phone's durability. At a press event, the company used the device to hammer nails, crack nuts, and even had it shot with airsoft guns. Honor claims the X9e Pro survives drops from 3 meters at any angle, while IP68, IP69, and IP69K certification confirms resistance not just to dust and regular water, but also to hot, high-pressure water jets.

Camera and Design

The back of the X9e Pro is dominated by a large circular camera housing. Reports indicate it contains a dual-camera setup with a 108MP primary sensor — double the resolution of the China-only Honor X80 Pro Max, which the Malaysian model is reportedly based on. The phone debuts in a purple finish with gold accents along the frame and around the camera module, a more premium look than earlier X Series models.

The 108MP main sensor is a notable step up from the 50MP units typically found across the rest of the X Series.

Honor will launch the X9e Pro in Malaysia on September 24, 2026. The company will reveal full pricing and specifications during a livestream on the official Honor Malaysia Facebook page at 3:00 PM local time.
