vivo Unveils X500 Pro With Triple Zeiss Camera and Dimensity 9600 Pro Chip

vivo has announced the X500 Pro, the new flagship in its X500 lineup built around a triple Zeiss camera system and the new MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. The device pairs professional-grade imaging with a compact body and an advanced display.

High refresh rate display

The X500 Pro features a 6.36-inch AMOLED display with a 2660 x 1216 resolution and a 95.03% screen-to-body ratio. An adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 144Hz helps save battery in static scenarios while keeping gaming visuals smooth. The panel supports HDR, renders 10.7 billion colors, and reaches an 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Underneath sits a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, alongside face unlock support.

Dimensity 9600 Pro platform and memory

Powering the phone is an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, built on a 2nm process with clock speeds up to 4.55GHz. Graphics are handled by a Mali-G2-Ultra-NX GPU. The X500 Pro comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage in 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB configurations. It runs OriginOS 7, based on Android 17.

Triple Zeiss camera system

Continuing the series' partnership with Zeiss, the X500 Pro pairs three rear sensors at 50MP and 64MP with a 50MP, f/2.0 front camera.

The main Zeiss camera uses a 50MP sensor with an f/1.57 aperture and optical image stabilization, aimed at sharper low-light shots.

The Zeiss APO telephoto lens packs 64MP with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, backed by optical stabilization.

The Zeiss ultra-wide camera offers 50MP resolution and an f/2.0 aperture for wider landscape and group shots.

All rear cameras support autofocus, and video can be recorded at up to 8K resolution, with slow-motion capture available at 4K. Video stabilization works on both the front and rear cameras.

Battery life and fast charging

The X500 Pro packs a single-cell battery with a typical capacity of 6,510mAh (6,305mAh rated).

90W wired charging is paired with 40W wireless charging, plus reverse charging support for other devices via OTG.

The vivo X500 Pro goes on sale in China in September 2026. Pricing for the all-network versions (V2608A/V2608DA) is set at 6,499 yuan (~$950) for the 12GB+256GB variant, 7,499 yuan (~$1,095) for 12GB+512GB, and 8,499 yuan (~$1,240) for 12GB+1TB.
