Oppo Officially Unveils K15 With Active Cooling Fan and 8,000mAh Battery
Oppo has officially unveiled the K15 smartphone in China. The device joins the K15 Pro and K15 Pro+, which debuted earlier this year, and inherits from its higher-end siblings not only the design language but also a built-in active cooling fan — an unusual feature for a device in this segment.
The K15's standout feature is its active cooling system, which pairs a 4,950mm² vapour chamber with a built-in fan designed to keep the chipset stable under sustained load.
The chassis also features a pulsating light ring and illuminated strips running across the body, underlining the phone's gaming-oriented design.
Display and cameras
The Oppo K15 sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the back, a dual-camera setup pairs a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide unit, while the front camera also uses a 50MP sensor.
Performance and battery life
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Power comes from an 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. The phone carries an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance and weighs 205 grams.
Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and an infrared sensor. The K15 runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
The Oppo K15 is already on sale in China in a single 12GB/256GB configuration priced at CNY 2,299 (around $340).
