Realme Confirms 16x 5G India Launch Date Claiming the Largest Battery in its Segment

Realme has officially confirmed the launch date for the Realme 16x 5G in India. Battery life is the model's headline feature, with the company claiming the largest battery in its segment at 7,000mAh.

Battery and charging

The Realme 16x 5G packs a 7,000mAh battery — 400mAh more than the 6,600mAh cell used in the phone's global version. Charging is handled via 45W wired fast charging.

Display and cooling

The phone features a 144Hz refresh rate display with peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits, which Realme calls the brightest in its segment. A 5,300mm² vapor chamber is included to manage heat under sustained load.

Performance

The Realme 16x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.

Realme's own Flux Engine software handles system resource allocation, aiming for smoother multitasking and consistent day-to-day performance.

For gaming, the phone includes the GT BOOST engine, which uses AI to allocate resources and maintain stable frame rates during gameplay.

The phone is a toned-down variant of the Realme 16 5G, which launched in April 2026, and joins Realme's India lineup alongside the Realme 16, Realme 16 Pro, Realme 16 Pro+, and Realme 16T. It will be offered in Endurance Brown and Glory White color options.

Camera and durability

The device has a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP primary sensor, accompanied by an RGB light ring and an LED flash. The Realme 16x 5G carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
