Galaxy S26 FE Full Specs Leak: Exynos 2500 Chip and a Higher Price

The complete spec sheet of the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has surfaced online roughly a month before the expected announcement. According to insider sources, the Fan Edition model will change its processor for the first time in three generations, add 8K video recording and cost more than its predecessor.

Processor and memory

Instead of the Exynos 2400 used in the Galaxy S24 FE and S25 FE, the new model is said to run on the Exynos 2500 — the same chip that debuted in the Galaxy Z Flip7.

The processor is built on a 3nm GAA node and packs ten cores clocked at up to 3.3GHz, along with Xclipse 950 graphics based on AMD RDNA 3. Memory configurations stay the same: 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage, and there is once again no microSD slot.

Display and body

The front is expected to carry a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 2,340 x 1,080 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Typical brightness is listed at 1,200 nits, rising to 1,900 nits in high brightness mode. The 7.4mm-thick body weighs 193g, 3g more than the previous model, and carries an IP68 rating. Three colours are mentioned: Graphite, Pistachio and Blueberry.

Cameras

The sensor lineup is largely unchanged: a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical stabilisation, plus an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto with 3x optical zoom. The ultra-wide is the one module getting an update — a new 12MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens. The 12MP front camera uses fixed focus.

The most noticeable change concerns video: the main camera should support 8K recording at 30fps, while the Galaxy S25 FE topped out at 4K at 60fps.

Battery life

Battery capacity stays at 4,900mAh, as do the charging speeds of 45W wired and 15W wireless. The new chip should improve endurance: the documentation lists up to 50 hours of use, against 42 hours and 37 minutes for the previous model.

At the same time, the EPREL charge cycle rating drops from 2,000 to 1,200. That may point to a switch to a silicon-carbon cell, but there is no official confirmation of this.

The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to be announced in early September, with the recommended price of the 128GB version reportedly rising to 799 euros (~$930) — roughly 50 euros more than the Galaxy S25 FE cost at launch.
