After a Samsung representative effectively confirmed that the Galaxy S26 FE is set to launch later this year, new details about its cameras have surfaced online. According to Android Authority, citing a source familiar with the company's internal documentation, the smartphone will feature a camera system that remains largely unchanged compared to its predecessor.

Main and telephoto sensors carried over

Per the leak, the Galaxy S26 FE will use a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN3 sensor for its primary camera, while the 3x telephoto unit will rely on an 8MP OmniVision OV08A1 sensor. Both are the same components used in last year's Galaxy S25 FE.

Uncertainty over the ultrawide and selfie cameras

The leak also points to a 12MP GalaxyCore GC12A2 sensor and a 12MP Sony IMX825 sensor, though it's unclear which one will handle ultrawide duties and which will be used for selfies. Either way, both cameras will keep the same 12MP resolution as the Galaxy S25 FE.

Another spec staying unchanged

The Galaxy S26 FE was previously certified with support for 45W wired charging, suggesting charging speeds will also match its predecessor.

An official announcement date has not yet been revealed.
