Google Unveils Pixel 11 Pro With HiLight Notifications and 3,600-Nit Display

Google has unveiled the Pixel 11 Pro, the flagship model of its new lineup, featuring the brightest display in Pixel history, a new notification system that works without looking at the screen, and an upgraded triple camera with an extended zoom range.

A brighter, scratch-resistant Super Actua display

Pixel 11 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED Super Actua display with a 1280×2856 resolution and an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches 3,600 nits — the brightest screen in Pixel's history. The cover glass gets a new anti-scratch coating that delivers more than double the scratch resistance of the previous generation.

HiLight: notifications without looking at the screen

HiLight is a new feature that uses colored LED lights built around the camera flash to signal timely information while the phone is face down. The light can glow in different patterns to show that Gemini is listening, thinking, or responding, and users can assign custom colors to specific contacts for incoming calls.

A triple camera with up to 120x zoom

The main camera gets a new 50-megapixel sensor with an f/1.68 aperture. The 48-megapixel ultrawide camera now includes autofocus, and the telephoto lens has also grown to 48 megapixels with optical image stabilization.

Thanks to Tensor G6 and updated imaging algorithms, the phone supports Pro Zoom up to 120x, and Night Sight captures images nearly 4.5 times faster while maintaining the same quality. The cameras can also record 8K video at 24 and 30 frames per second.

Pixel 11 Pro is available for pre-order today starting at $1,099 for the 256GB model, with availability beginning August 20. Buyers also get six months of Google AI Pro included with their purchase.

Battery life and memory

A 4,850mAh battery delivers more than 30 hours of battery life. 30W wired charging can restore up to 55% of the battery in 30 minutes, while Qi2.2 wireless charging tops out at 25W. The phone ships with 12GB of RAM on the 256GB model, while the 512GB and 1TB versions bump RAM up to 16GB.
