Google Launches Pixel Watch 5 Stephen Curry Special Edition With Exclusive Band
The Google Pixel Watch 5 Stephen Curry Special Edition is a special version of Google's new smartwatch, created in collaboration with four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry. It's built on the standard 45mm Pixel Watch 5, but comes with an exclusive band and a dedicated color scheme.
What sets the special edition apart
The headline feature is a Performance Loop band with a water-repellent, sweat-wicking coating designed for intense workouts. Google frames it as equally suited to the court and to a night out, describing the band as taking style “from the court to an evening out.”
The Stephen Curry Special Edition case comes in the Satin Pyrite finish, the same finish used for the standard Olive colorway in the Pixel Watch 5 lineup, while the Performance Loop band gets its own dedicated colors created specifically for this collaboration.
In terms of hardware and software, the watch matches the standard 45mm Pixel Watch 5 exactly: the same Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Accelerated chip, on-device Gemini Intelligence, Google's most accurate GPS route tracking to date, and the new Health Guardian features, including breathing emergency detection.
Pre-orders for the Google Pixel Watch 5 Stephen Curry Special Edition opened August 12 at $579, with on-shelf availability starting September 3.
