Honor Robot Phone Specs Leak Ahead of August 12 Launch
Tipster Digital Chat Station has posted a full specification sheet for the Honor Robot Phone on Weibo. Honor had already confirmed the phone's camera details in late July, and the new leak fills in the display, chipset, and battery.
A display built for extreme brightness
According to the leak, the Robot Phone will feature a flat 6.3-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 1216x2640 resolution. Peak brightness is said to reach 6,800 nits, with an anti-reflective coating added to cut down on glare.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Honor's own chips
The leak points to a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with a 7,060mAh battery, charged via 120W wired fast charging.
Alongside Qualcomm's flagship processor, the phone is reportedly getting three self-developed Honor chips: C1 for RF signal enhancement, E2 for power management, and H1, dedicated to processing images from the gimbal camera.
A robotic gimbal camera system
Honor officially confirmed the camera hardware in late July. The main sensor is a 200MP unit with built-in gimbal stabilization, an f/1.6 aperture, and a 1/1.28" sensor size. A second 200MP sensor handles periscope telephoto duties, offering 2.7x optical zoom with an f/2.6 aperture on a 1/1.4" sensor.
Honor will officially unveil the Robot Phone on August 12 in China; availability and pricing for other markets have not been announced.
