Honor Unveils Budget X6e With a 7,500 mAh Battery
Honor has officially unveiled the X6e, the latest addition to its X6 lineup, which already includes the X6, X6a, X6b, X6b 4G, X6c, and X6d. The phone has launched in Malaysia so far, and its standout feature is an unusually large battery for the segment.
Display and performance
The Honor X6e comes with a 6.61-inch LCD display featuring a 720x1604 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,010 nits. It's powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The phone's headline feature is its 7,500 mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging — a notable capacity for a device in this class.
Cameras
On the back is a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, while a 5MP f/2.2 sensor handles selfies.
Durability and connectivity
The device carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and has passed SGS drop-resistance testing from heights of up to 1.8 meters.
The X6e is 4G-only and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and a fingerprint scanner.
The Honor X6e is available in Malaysia in Sunrise Gold and Midnight Black colors for MYR 699 (~$ 170). The retail box includes a 45W charger, a case, and a pre-installed screen protector.
