ASUS Unveils ExpertBook P3 G2 Business Laptop with Intel Core 7 Series 3

ASUS has introduced the ExpertBook P3 G2, a laptop aimed at corporate users and offered in two sizes: the 14-inch P3406CMA and the 16-inch P3606CMA. The machine is built around an Intel Core 7 Series 3 processor, while its defining feature is the ASUS ExpertGuardian set of business security tools paired with a chassis tested to the MIL-STD-810H standard.

What sets the ExpertBook P3 G2 apart is that it is not a general-purpose thin-and-light for home use but a machine intended for corporate fleets. The manufacturer prioritises predictability over peak power: protected firmware, a long update commitment, service coverage and a rugged chassis matter more to an IT department than record benchmark scores.

Performance and cooling

Configurations go up to an Intel Core 7 Series 3 processor and pair it with DDR5 memory and a PCIe 4.0 SSD. That combination targets everyday office scenarios with many applications open at once and frequent work on large files. A reworked cooling system handles sustained loads, with the goal of holding performance steady rather than merely surviving short bursts of activity.

Ergonomics and the workspace

ASUS enlarged the touchpad and revised the keyboard, which now offers 1.5mm of key travel, a difference that becomes noticeable during long typing sessions. Dedicated shortcut keys handle video conferencing controls, so basic actions during a call no longer require hunting through the interface.

The laptop supports multiple high-resolution external displays. For office work that matters more than graphics performance, since a multi-monitor setup remains the main way to expand the workspace when analysing data or handling documents. ASUS also claims long battery life and fast charging, but does not specify battery capacity or charging power.

Security and support

ASUS ExpertGuardian combines a BIOS compliant with NIST SP 800-155, Windows 11 Secured-core technologies and a TPM 2.0 hardware module.

Five years of updates for the ASUS BIOS and drivers allow companies to plan the service life of the device within a corporate fleet.

MIL-STD-810H: the chassis has been tested against the military durability standard designed for demanding operating conditions.
