CMF Buds Neo Launch in India With 35dB ANC and 52-Hour Battery Life
Nothing has introduced the CMF Buds Neo, an entry-level pair of wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation of up to 35dB and a claimed 52 hours of total playback with the charging case. India is the first market for the new model.
Design in CMF's signature style
The earbuds use an in-ear fit and carry the brand's dual-tone look, where the stem and the bud housing contrast with each other. The charging case has a square shape with rounded corners, a circular dial on the front and a lanyard hole, so it can be carried on a strap or attached to a bag.
Sound and noise cancellation
Audio is handled by 12.4mm dynamic drivers. The Nothing X app adds a custom equaliser and a static spatial audio mode.
Adaptive noise cancellation reduces outside sound by up to 35dB and adjusts to the surrounding environment.
Clear Voice Technology relies on four microphones and an ENC system that filters out background noise during calls.
The CMF Buds Neo go on sale in India on 26 August via Flipkart and select retail partners at INR 1,999 (~$23).
Connectivity
The earbuds run on Bluetooth 6.0 and support the AAC and SBC codecs. Quick pairing is covered by Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair.
Dual Device Connection keeps two devices connected at the same time and lets users switch between them without pairing again.
Battery life and protection
With noise cancellation on, the manufacturer promises up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 30 hours with the case. Turning ANC off raises those figures to 11 and 52 hours respectively. The buds themselves are rated IP55, while the case only handles dripping water with its IPX2 rating.
