realme Unveils P4s 5G With an 8000mAh Battery and a 144Hz Screen
realme has introduced the realme P4s 5G, a new member of the P4 series built around battery life and gaming. The phone carries an 8000mAh cell with 80W wired charging, an AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a pairing of the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra with a separate HyperVision+ AI graphics chip.
Display
The phone is built around a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel made by Samsung and based on M14 OLED technology. Resolution is 2772 x 1272 pixels, peak brightness is rated at 6500 nits and HDR10+ is supported. The refresh rate reaches 144Hz while the touch sampling rate climbs to 240Hz. The panel renders 1.07 billion colours and covers the DCI-P3 gamut, with AGC DT Star D+ glass on top.
Performance and Gaming
Processing is handled by the Dimensity 7400 Ultra, assisted by a separate HyperVision+ AI graphics chip that realme describes as responsible for in-game image quality. The company claims support for 90 and 144 frames per second across five genres: shooters, MOBA, sports titles, racing and sandbox games. Cooling is managed by a 7,000 mm² vapour chamber.
Three configurations are offered: 8/128GB, 8/256GB and 12/256GB. The phone uses LPDDR4X memory and UFS 3.1 storage, and there is no memory card slot. It runs realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 and is promised three years of Android version upgrades and four years of security patches.
Battery
Battery capacity stands at 8000mAh, yet the body is no thicker than 8.6 mm and weighs around 208 g. Wired charging at 80W is joined by support for 55W PPS and 13.5W PD, while a charger, a cable and a protective case ship in the box.
Cameras
The main module uses a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens, autofocus and optical stabilisation, sitting next to an 8MP ultra-wide unit with a 112° field of view. The selfie camera is a 16MP unit. The rear camera records 4K video at 30 frames per second, with Full HD available at 60 frames per second.
On the software side realme adds a set of AI photo features, among them AI Light Me, AI StyleMe and AI Framing Master. The camera array and the LED flash sit inside a separate island with a mixed-texture finish.
Extra Features
Wet and oily hand touch: the touch layer is designed to register input from damp or greasy fingers, so the screen should respond correctly in the kitchen or in the rain.
Reverse and bypass charging: the phone can top up other devices over a cable, and during gaming it draws power straight from the adapter, bypassing the battery.
IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings: the body is rated for water jets, immersion and cleaning with hot pressurised water.
Audio is handled by stereo speakers. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4 with LDAC, aptX HD and LHDC 5.0 codecs, and there is an infrared port for controlling home appliances. The phone takes two nano-SIM cards, but NFC and eSIM are not supported. Unlocking relies on an in-display optical fingerprint reader and face recognition.
The realme P4s 5G goes on sale in India on 3 September. The 8/128GB version costs INR 34,999 (~$400), the 8/256GB model INR 37,999 (~$435) and the 12/256GB version INR 41,999 (~$480).
