OPPO Launches K14 Lite With 7000mAh Battery in India

OPPO has launched a new budget smartphone in India — the OPPO K14 Lite. The device extends the K14 lineup but shifts the focus toward battery longevity: the company claims the phone can deliver up to six years of stable battery performance and steady day-to-day smoothness even at this lower price point. Unlike other K14-series models, the new phone supports only 4G LTE networks, underlining its positioning as the most affordable option in the range.

Design and Colors

The K14 Lite's design is built around rounded R-Corner edges that improve in-hand comfort, along with a horizontal camera module styled after OPPO's flagship phones. The phone weighs 215g, measures 9mm thick, and comes in two colors — Stone Brown and Feather Purple.

Battery Life and Water Resistance

OPPO's biggest bet with the K14 Lite is its 7000mAh battery (typical capacity; 6820mAh rated), which supports 15W wired charging with Power Delivery. According to the company, the battery retains more than 80% of its original capacity even after 1,800 charge cycles — roughly equivalent to six years of daily use. The phone carries an IP64 rating against dust and water splashes, and its display remains responsive to touch with wet, oily, or gloved hands.

Display and Performance

The K14 Lite features a 6.75-inch (17.15cm diagonal) LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1570×720 pixels and up to 120Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches 900 nits, aimed at improving outdoor visibility. Processing is handled by an octa-core UNISOC T7250 chipset with a Mali-G57 GPU, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage. To manage heat during gaming, OPPO fitted a 13,700mm² graphite cooling layer. Notably, unlike higher-tier K14-series models, this version supports only 4G LTE networks — the chipset has no 5G modem.

Camera

The K14 Lite's main camera uses a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus; a HI-RES mode can be enabled to capture 50-megapixel photos via software upscaling. The front camera is 5 megapixels. Available shooting modes include Portrait, Night, Panorama, and Time-Lapse.

Software and Extra Features

The phone runs OPPO's ColorOS software, layered with several practical tools for photo editing and everyday performance.

AI Eraser lets users remove unwanted objects or passersby from photos, keeping the focus on the intended subject.

AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 cuts a subject out of a photo and lets users place it on a different background in just a few taps.

Reverse Wired Charging lets the phone share part of its charge with another device over a USB-C cable (up to 5V/1A, requires OTG support).

36-Month Smoothness Protection — OPPO says lab testing shows the software and hardware combination keeps the interface responsive over three years of use.

The OPPO K14 Lite launched in India on September 16, 2026, with sales starting on the official OPPO e-store and Flipkart. The base 4GB/64GB configuration starts at ₹16,999 (~$192), dropping to ₹15,999 (~$181) with an available ₹1,000 bank discount.
