Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra Specs and Prices Leaked Ahead of Launch

A detailed leak has surfaced covering the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra, the upcoming flagships from Xiaomi's Poco sub-brand, revealing renders, specifications and estimated European pricing. According to WinFuture, both devices are rebadged European versions of the Chinese Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max, sharing identical hardware but shipping with smaller batteries. The leak is notable for exposing an almost complete technical profile of both phones ahead of any official announcement.

185Hz displays with different sizes

The Poco F9 Pro features a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a 1156x2510 resolution, while the larger Poco F9 Ultra gets a 6.9-inch panel at 1200x2608 pixels. Both displays support up to a 185Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits of peak brightness. According to the leak, the panels were co-developed with supplier TCL CSOT, with Xiaomi reportedly contributing its own material compositions to improve image quality. Both screens are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and up to 16GB of RAM

Both phones are said to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, with performance cores clocked up to 4.6GHz. Depending on configuration, buyers will be able to choose between 12 or 16GB of RAM and 256 or 512GB of non-expandable storage.

Cameras: shared main sensor, different telephoto setups

Both models reportedly share a main camera with an f/1.68 aperture and optical image stabilization. The Poco F9 Pro adds a telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom (60mm equivalent, f/2.0 aperture) and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The Poco F9 Ultra instead gets a periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom (120mm equivalent, f/3.0 aperture) and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. Both models use a 32MP front camera and are said to support 8K video at 30fps as well as 4K at 60fps.

Build quality, protection and Bose-tuned sound

Both phones reportedly feature a metal frame and a fiberglass-reinforced plastic back panel. A speaker tuned in collaboration with Bose sits on the back near the camera housing, and the Poco F9 Ultra additionally gets an LED notification ring. Both devices are said to carry IP69 dust and water resistance. The Poco F9 Pro reportedly weighs 206 grams, while the Poco F9 Ultra weighs 235 grams.

According to preliminary information, the Poco F9 Pro is expected to start at €799 (~$920) for the 12/256GB configuration in Europe, while the Poco F9 Ultra is expected to start at €999 (~$1,150) for the 16/512GB version. The source notes these figures appear to be an estimate rather than confirmed pricing.

Battery and charging

Despite smaller batteries compared to their Chinese counterparts, both phones are said to support 100W wired fast charging with USB Power Delivery support. The Poco F9 Pro is rumored to pack a 6,330mAh battery, while the Poco F9 Ultra reportedly gets an 8,050mAh cell.
