Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max Appears on Geekbench with Xring O3 Chip

The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max has turned up in the Geekbench database under the model number M367FC. The listing confirms that the tablet runs on Xiaomi's in-house Xring O3 processor and offers the first look at what the platform can do inside a large-screen device. Xiaomi had already confirmed that this tablet would be the first big-screen product built around its own silicon.

What the benchmark shows

In Geekbench 6 the sample reached 3,471 points in the single-core test and 13,229 points in the multi-core run. The single-core figure sits slightly below the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but under multi-core load the Xring O3 pulls ahead of the Qualcomm chip by roughly 15–20%. For a tablet that gap matters more than peak single-thread speed, because multi-core throughput is what shapes performance during video editing, split-screen work and demanding professional apps.

The score falls noticeably short of the 15,000 points Xiaomi previously cited for the Xring O3 based on its own testing. Such a gap is common for pre-release units, since final numbers depend on firmware maturity and thermal tuning.

Xring O3 configuration

The listing matches what Xiaomi has already disclosed about the platform, which means the technical side of the chip is effectively public before the official announcement.

The processor uses a ten-core layout split across three clusters: two C1-Ultra cores at 4.36GHz, four C1-Premium cores at 3.69GHz and four more C1-Pro cores at 3.15GHz.

Graphics are handled by the sixteen-core Mali G2 Ultra NX MC16 accelerator that Xiaomi uses across its flagship hardware.

The benchmarked unit came with 16GB of RAM and ran Android 17, making it one of the first tablets to show up in the Geekbench database on the new operating system release.

Where it fits in the Pad 9 lineup

Xiaomi is preparing three new tablets. The standard model is set to use an 11.2-inch screen, the Pro version a 12.5-inch panel, and the Pad 9 Pro Max will top the family with a 13.3-inch display. Unofficial reports suggest the two smaller models will stick with Qualcomm processors, leaving Xiaomi's own platform exclusive to the flagship.

Insider sources also point to a battery larger than 10,000mAh, support for 120W charging and configurations with up to 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage. None of this has been confirmed by Xiaomi, so it should be treated as preliminary until the official launch.
