Xiaomi Confirms Redmi Note 17 India Launch Date
Xiaomi has officially confirmed the Indian launch date for the Redmi Note 17 series. Promotional teasers show the device in blue and purple color options.
What's confirmed so far
The Indian Redmi Note 17 will feature an AMOLED display and an 8,000mAh battery, matching the specs of the Chinese variant that launched earlier this month. A Geekbench listing also revealed the device's chipset — the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 — paired with 8GB of RAM. The phone will run Android 16, presumably with HyperOS 3 on top.
No official camera details have been confirmed yet. If the Indian model is identical to its Chinese counterpart, it could feature a 50MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera, though Xiaomi has not confirmed this.
The Redmi Note 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro will be unveiled in India on August 6, 2026.
