Xiaomi Confirms REDMI K100 Pro Max Camera: 200MP Sensor, 100x Zoom

Xiaomi has officially confirmed the camera specifications of the upcoming REDMI K100 Pro Max ahead of its launch event. The company confirmed the phone will feature a 200MP main sensor and a periscope telephoto lens supporting up to 100x zoom.

Triple Camera: 200MP Sensor and 5x Periscope

The REDMI K100 Pro Max's main camera module is built around a 200-megapixel sensor capable of capturing images at a resolution of 16384 × 12288 pixels. It's paired with a 5x periscope telephoto lens that supports up to 100x digital zoom. Rounding out the setup is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide module with a 17mm equivalent focal length.

Design and Display

The phone will launch in two colorways — Cabernet Sauvignon Red and Golden White. The body features a four-curved wraparound metal frame and a unibody metal camera deco. On the back, a floating light ring illuminates in sync with music playback. Up front is a 6.9-inch flat display with ultra-narrow bezels, built using Xiaomi's new M11 OLED material with a full-RGB SuperPixel arrangement.

Performance: According to Reports

According to reports, the REDMI K100 Pro Max will feature a 185Hz display — Xiaomi's first screen at that refresh rate — with native high-frame-rate support across more than 30 popular games. The phone is also said to pack a fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra chipset paired with a dedicated AI graphics chip, the D2, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and a dedicated gaming antenna aimed at reducing latency during gameplay.

Battery and Charging

Powering the device is a 9,070mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery. The phone supports 100W wired fast charging, along with 50W wireless charging, 27W wired reverse charging, and 22.5W wireless reverse charging.

The periscope module supports 100x Super Zoom, letting users capture distant subjects with significantly more detail.

The rear light ring reacts to music playback, syncing its illumination with the beat of a track.

The charging setup includes both reverse wired and wireless modes, letting the phone charge other devices.
