Redmi Confirms Green Mountain Eye Protection 4.0 for K100 Pro Series

Redmi has started detailing the display of its upcoming K100 Pro flagship series ahead of the device's official unveiling. According to an announcement on Redmi's official Weibo channel, the new lineup will introduce Xiaomi Green Mountain Eye Protection 4.0, the latest evolution of the company's eye-health-focused display technology.

A Medical Approach To Display Tuning

The upgraded technology is built on a "medical-engineering integration" approach, in which clinical ophthalmology research directly informs display calibration. Rather than relying on standard software blue-light filters, Green Mountain Eye Protection 4.0 adapts to the specific scenario in use — reading in the dark, using the phone under harsh sunlight, or scrolling during a commute. The goal is to reduce eye strain, ease dryness, and prevent visual fatigue during extended screen use.

A standout addition is the new anti-motion sickness mode. It adjusts image parameters, visual-spatial cues, and frame pacing while the user is in a moving vehicle, reducing the sensory conflict between what the eyes see and what the inner ear perceives.

The core strength of Green Mountain Eye Protection 4.0 is its ability to automatically adapt across different usage scenarios throughout the day, from morning reading to late-night viewing, without requiring users to switch modes manually.

Redmi is positioning the technology as a way to combine high display quality with eye-health protection without compromising either.

An official launch date for the K100 Pro series itself has not yet been announced.
