Redmi Reveals K100 Pro Max Launch Date and Design
Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch date for the Redmi K100 Pro series and revealed the design of the K100 Pro Max for the first time.
Xiaomi President Lu Weibing also said on Weibo that the standard Redmi K100 Pro will be priced at around CNY 4,000 (~$590). Pricing for the Max variant has not been disclosed. The standard Redmi K100 model will be unveiled at a later date.
Design: flat display and a new colorway
The K100 Pro Max features a flat 6.9-inch display with ultra-narrow bezels and a curved metal frame. Official renders show the phone in a new Cabernet Red colorway, matching an image that leaked online a day earlier. Overall, the design closely resembles that of its predecessor, the K90 Pro Max.
Camera and audio
On the back, the K100 Pro Max sports a triple-camera setup that includes a periscope telephoto lens. The phone also retains the rear woofer co-developed with Bose, a feature that stood out on the previous generation.
Pre-reservations for the Redmi K100 Pro Max have opened in China through Xiaomi's official online store. According to the company's Weibo post, the phone will be officially unveiled on August 11.
